tsantee
I don't know what caused the crash. Did Toast crash or did the Mac's entire system crash? If it is the latter then go to Macupdate.com and search for Rember and run a full RAM test. What is the resolution of the .m4v video? In other words, is it high-def or standard-definition? I suggest choosing Save as Disc Image from the File menu instead of clicking the burn button. If that gets completed then burn the resulting .toast file using the Image File setting in the Copy window.
