Gig A.
Just purchased Roxio Creator Pro NXT. Can I INSTALL NXT on my computer that also has Roxio Creator 2012? Will there be any conflicts? Is NXT as powerful as Creator 2012 for making dvd's of special family events, etc.? Thanks
Jim_Hardin
YES you can and here is what will happen... It will delete most of the Creator 2012 Suite programs that are included with NXT. The WinDVD that is part of NXT will not play BluRay or any Commercial DVD But if you have CinePlayer BD installed, it will leave it alone For once it is BEST not to remove a previous version of Roxio for the install of NXT. Are you saying that without another application I will not be able to play DVD's. My copy is en-route right now and I would just like to clarify what you state above. sknis
Jim already told you that : 'But if you have CinePlayer BD installed, it will leave it alone " Do you? You should have CinePlayer installed from your Creator 2010 (?). It will not be deleted so you can use that to play commercial DVDs. WinDVD will play ONLY the files and DVDs that YOU make. DO NOT uninstall your previous version. NXT will uninstall and upgrade what needs to be upgraded. Note: If you use Media Manager, it is now reached from the tools menu on the home page.
