Roxio Creater Has Stopped Working

When I open Roxio I receive an error "Roxio Creator has stopped working- A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program & notify you if a solution is available."

 

I have tried completely unistalling & reinstalling and the issue persists. Also now with Roxio installed, there is a pad lock symbol which I am unable to disable & the help tab does not give any steps only states Files cannot be added to a locked disc

 

I have Windows 7.

 

Any suggestions appreciated.

I know you said you did this but please try it one more time using these steps

 

 

 

Download and then install & run the

Revo

Uninstaller,

in Moderate Mode!

 

Turn off your Anti Virus, Firewalls, Registry Cleaners, etc. and insert your Roxio Disc (download version - run Install)

 

Be sure you accept the offer to Check for Updates (this is for Roxio, not Windows)

 

When you reach the screen where

Repair

is offered, choose that!

 

When the Repair competes, turn your AV & Firewall back on and reboot.
