Help! Audio Button On Capture Screen Wont Let Me Adjust

Hey guys. I recently started to get a distortion in my audio when i was capturing with the roxio so i decided to uninstall the software and reinstall it and then reduce the audio volume on the capture card by clicking on recording devices>roxio game cap>line like most of the help threads state. Now whenever i am capturing though on the bottom right of the capture screen it shows the audio button but it wont let me adjust the audio level for it. It just either enables or mutes the recording i'm making. It never did this before i uninstalled.

 

Any help?

The audio is controlled by your Windows volume controls, not the Roxio program

Yeah i was. Im sorry if i didn't clarify enough i was just trying to find out why I cant adjust the audio button next to the capture screen when recording. The little audio button on the bottom right. It use to always let me do it before but now it wont.
