Can Only Capture When Full Screen.

I can only capture when I make the video full screen on the computer, If I try to capture when not in full screen mode, the Roxio Game Capture HD will only record about 1 second of video. The work around is making it full screen and then using the hotkey to start capturing. If you exit full screen while capturing it stops capturing and cuts of the video.

I have uninstalled, re-installed software, repaired software , unplugged and re-plugged cables multiple times as well. Service Pack 1 is installed.

I don't know what happen, but it's working fine now, I don't have to be in full screen to record. Will keep playing around with the device to see if I can figure out what caused the problem to happen in the first place.

Please do because I cannot see anything on my little screen. Only way to stop flickering is to load it as full screen before I even turn on the console. even then it ends up crashing :-(

Update: The problem has started up again and I haven't changed anything, I restarted my computer and tried to capture again and was unable to capture unless in full screen.

Well I think I figured out the problem When I have two monitors hooked up I have to have the Roxio program on the main screen in order for it to capture honestly this sucks hope a patch comes soon.

 

edit: Yep that's the problem. Only able to capture on the main monitor.

It would be more useful if you told us what Video Card you have & some details about the Monitors...

I have my laptop and tv and that's it so I don't know what my issue is lol

Got a email back from Support, said that the Roxio Game Capture Pro HD, currently does not support Dual Monitors.

My Capture card does that, but i only have one monitor (connected to my ps3).

Thanks for the advice, I'll try in fullscreen :D
