Streaming Roxio Capture Hd Pro With Xsplit (Temp Fix) [Video Tutorial]

Question

1st of all, after installing SP1 update for the Roxio Capture HD Pro, the built in live streaming was alot easier to use and more user friendly. I know this thread will cause some issues because xSplit is a NON Roxio software but from what i remember being told is if there is a free trial of a program for the public to use it could be discussed on the forums.

IF NOT, please let me know and i will remove the video/tutorial.

Can you do a tut how to add the audio? Because without the audio, it's basically pointless. Good video tho.

well if you normally use xsplit to stream with the older device, your audio setup wouldn't change.

As for the audio in hind sight, you can set up stereo mix, find programs that create a virtual mixing board and even jerryrig your cables to work right.

I use a program and Turtlebeach PX21 to get my proper audio to work with xSplit.

Hey great video. Quick question, when i try to capture the screen region, it just ends up being a black screen on my xsplit display. Any reason why?

EDIT** Figured it out, you have to enable Aero and by default xsplit disables it

how come my preview screen for roxio is so slow though

it has a 5-30 second delay (depending on the actions i do)

Like pushing start takes 5-30 seconds before it accually pushes Start

any ideas with that???

also can i record via xsplit because quality and slowness still come from Roxios incapture and it made a ugly video with crappy video quality and crappy recording quality

The preview screen has a 2 second delay, that's just how the Roxio works.

let your dad know how much bandwidth you take up streaming depends on how high you set your bitrate for it. It doesn't have to be a high set amount it can be adjusted.
