Auto Title When Live Streaming

wicket2961

Question

Hi,

If you're not aware I have had and am still having many problems with the device... anyway...

I noticed that when you live stream to twitch straight from the capture software the title is automatic and the tweet that it sends to twitter doesn't contain any info on what you're playing.

I would like to be able to press "live stream" and then put in a title for the live stream before the tweet goes out etc. Do I need to go into twitch whilst I am streaming to change this and then send the tweet manually?

Thank you

let me break this down.

Twitch.tv uses a collection of game titles offsite from Gamestop that have to be typed in manually from your stream page. This cannot be down with a third party program as of yet because it is all based off of twitch.

What i do is for my title for example is put "Battlefield 3 With Vaughn Whiskey" and before i stream, i go to my twitch channel/page and set my "now playing" to battlefield 3.

Now if you do change games, you would need to stop the stream and redo the title and "now playing" which can be a problem/pain in the butt but as of now that really the only way to do it.

Even xSplit can update the title from the program but not the game you are "now playing".

also, if you have you twitch page setup to you twitter, you can have twitch to send your title and link everytime you stream but the Roxio Live Streaming side does that aswell when it is set up.

Hope this helps

Vaughn
