Records Fine Until A Certain Part

Hey guys!

 

So I just bought the Roxio easy VHS to DVD 3 plus.

 

I was in the process of recording a video, after about 4-7 minutes the video input freezes.

but the audio continues.

 

So if I press save. It saves up to the part where the Programs video input froze.

 

Then I have to restart the computer again because the input doesn't want to reset and it becomes a big mess :/

 

Anyone have any ideas?

I don't see anything wrong with your computer. Some people with other software have had issues with the latest drivers from NVidia which you seem to have. The rolled back their drivers to the 301.42 which solved their problem. They did have to uninstall the latest driver before installing the older driver. I have the 560ti and do not have any problems with capture.

 

As a quick test, go to VHStoDVD file and then select preferences and switch to software rendering. See if it goes further than before.

 

Make sure your anti-virus is not doing an active scans of your hard drive when you are writing anything to your hard drive.

Well, I decided to repair the software and reinstall the driver for the usb component that came with it.

 

So far it works perfectly =)

Is there a way to make it not stop after the VHS has no signal for a bit?
