How Can I Remove Frames From Video Clip?

GWLundgren

Question

In a previous software I used I was able to remove frames, or a series of frames, from a video clip. These are most often a series of frames in the middle of a clip. Not the beginning or end where you could just trim the start and end of the clip. How can I extract these within Roxio?

Thx, Gary

Removing frames is the same in all versions of Roxio and has not changed.

There are 2 ways to remove frames from a video clip depending on the number of frames you want removed.

One is the split & delete method. Here you create a split at the beginning of the section you want removed and then create a another split at the end of that section. Now select the section between the 2 splits and delete that section. This will only work if you are removing 10 or more frames.

The other way uses the Trim method you are already familiar with. Simply create a split within a few frames of where you want to removed frames. You can now trim frames from the end of the left section as well as from the beginning of the right section
