Microsoft Removes Halo 4, Forza, Others From Monetization On Youtube

Question

Just a heads up to new streamers and youtubers. Microsoft announced today that they have removed the ability to monetize videos of gameplay on websites like YouTube, Vimeo, Twitch.tv and other websites that offer a paid partnership/monetization of videos.

the games as of right now are...

  • Halo (all versions)
  • Forza Motorsport (all versions)*
  • Fable (all versions)
  • Kinectimals
  • Kinect Adventures
  • Kinect Joy Ride
  • Age of Empires (all versions)
  • Flight Simulator (all versions)*
  • Kameo
  • Perfect Dark Zero
  • Project Gotham Racing (all versions)*
  • Shadowrun
  • Viva Piñata

So if you are a partner or able to monetize your gameplay videos, be careful on what you put ads on...it can get your account disabled.
