Invalid Compressed Data To Extract.

Question

I have managed to select purchase and download the software without any issue. I have downloaded the Roxio NXT main archive twice now and each time I get the same issue, unable to extract the following file from the archive. I have opened the exe file using the full version of winzip and all but this data1.cab can be extracted correctly.

 

This is the error message I get:

 

> Extracting RoxioCreatorNXT_LC36AXD0R13\EMC_140\Data1.cab

> Invalid compressed data to extract.

 

I am assuming the archive is faulty as the error message would suggest?? Has anyone else experienced this?

 

I have posted this question with Corel Customer Technical support

 

PC SetUP Info:

Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit

Core2 Quad Q6600 2.4GHz

8GB ram

AMD Radeon HD 6700 with 4G ram

1TB HDD with 465Gb free space

Eset Endpoint Security (which was disabled for the second extraction process)

Malwarebytes version 1.65

Nobody works the weekends so you will not get an answer...

 

Likewise, this is not Customer Service, so it is not too likely you can get an answer here anyway :huh:
