Capture Live Commentary With Game Recording

Is there a way to capture live commentary from headset or microphone during regular capture recording? I see the option for streaming but not for regular recording. I also see the narration that can be added later but I can't seem to find a live commentary option.

as of right now, no

 

BUT you can do what i do and find a USB headset or mic and use a third party voice recorder to record your voice and overlay it on the video when you're editing it.

just count down 3,2,1 before talking talking to give yourself an idea when your voice starts and where it should be begin on the video.

 

my setup is a Turtlebeach PX21 headset that allows my headset to be used in an xbox live party and recorded by usb on my computer. but the method i mentioned is the easiest for now.
