Not Responding/crashing Issue

Hello,

 

First let me tell you how I have it set up:

 

PS3 > Roxio (using component) > monitor (using hdmi) and pc (using usb)

 

So everything is working fine until.. I open up the program on my pc. So when I click on the "Capture" button, the capture menu screen doesn't load and I always get a "Not responding" message and it crashes.

 

But sometimes, when it does load, the "Status" says No Signal and I don't get any picture on the capture screen. And other times I lose connection on my monitor and don't get any picture on my monitor or the capture screen.

 

I've tried reinstalling, updating, and repairing, and I'm still getting these issues.

 

How can I fix this? Thanks in advance.

have you tried a restart?

not trying to sound rude but sometimes a simple restart will fix this kind of issue.

Yes restarting the computer, reinstalling, reupdating, repairing.. Still having the same issues.

did you make sure ps3 was set for 720p, 1080i. Make sure 1080p is unchecked?

 

Also make sure you select component instead of hdmi.

Yes 1080p was unchecked and yes its on component.

 

It works fine on my xbox, but not on my ps3...

i do have this same problem on my xbox360 it crash after short time anybody knows y thanks but i using the HDMI cables the software crash please help ....Do anybody reading this think or is just a wasting time ????????????????????????????????
