Background information...

 

Prior to this video I was using the ypbpr cables, but today I received an additional HDMI cable to use with the capture card. It did this even with the component cables if you look at my previous videos. Anyone have the same problem? Any solutions?

Didn't happen in Minecraft. Maybe it's a problem with Forza, will investigate more tomorrow.

times roxio capture gltiches. i always exit programs i am not using before i capture to leave up some cpu and what not.

 

maybe try that, maybe try different cables. maybe even a reinstall/restart of computer aswell.

Different cables? I did, I bought the extra HDMI to use it with this, before the HDMI I was useing YPBPR. Like I said it might just be FM4.

 

Also the CPU doesnt' do much when recording, most of it's up to the HDD.

if not would you mind telling me what resolution you are using on your XBOX and also what is you HDMI Color Space?

 

these can be found on the dashboard all the way to the right under Console Settings > Display

What is your good news because I have the same issue. also my Roxio Pro HD software seems to be a different version or is missing some files because it doesn't look anything like the tutorial's version.

RGC HD is hardware encoder. If problem is only Forza, probably USB transfer rate.

 

.m2ts use H264 codec. H264 is VBR on encode.

 

Minus action = minus USB transfer rate = minus bitrate = no problem in record file.

More action = more USB transfer rate = more bitrate = possible problem in record file.

 

Try another "action" game and look for error. If get same error, change your USB port (use back if desktop).
