I have no idea what problem you are describing. How does VCC cause your computer to restart? What are you trying to do? Copy a DVD? Copy from what, where? Convert and burn?

You have to supply some useful deatils if you expect any help.

Information on your system would also help

Tnx for reply. Simply opening VCC would cause the computer to restart within 30 sec. or so. I tried repair in Programs and Features first to get rid of the issue. I can still do complete reinstall from the disk. VCC now looks like it is running fine – says writing but the disks turn out blank. I have used RW disks before with no problems. I m trying to copy using two internal drives—always read from one and burned to the other no problems. Then VCC started causing a restart. I know that sounds nutz but it would happen every time. Should I try complete reinstall? If so, should I unistall every part of Creator 10 first?
