Stream Not Working At All

So, I cannot get my HD Pro to livestream. At all. I've tried everything. Changed from HDMI to Component, changed the video bitrate, changed my twitch.tv account, changed the server, practically EVERYTHING, and when I click the "Live Stream" button, it goes to my broadcast page, but nothing shows up. It captures fine, but for whatever reason I can't livestream. HELP!

did you upgrade to SP 1.1?

I would completely uninstall the entire program then reboot your PC re install the disk (without having the roxio plugged in...) then once it's installed.. upgrade to the SP 1.1 version. then do your settings there and try again. it's buggy sometimes.

when i check the software manager screen, it says that there's no new updates. but i'll give it a try

Yes the "normal path" to updates, does not work right with the SP 1.1...

so i checked my bandwidth and my average bandwidth is 1349 kbps. So what should I set my video bitrate as?

I downloaded the SP1 update.

Click the live stream button.

Still nothing. My page loads but it just shows my picture, still no stream at all.

what could I be doing wrong? It captures video fine, idk why it wont live stream right. :/

How long did you wait while you hit live stream button? Reason i ask this because last weekend i hit it.. I notice i had about 1 or 2 min delay. when i was streaming at 480p with bitrate of 800.

After i notice it.. i went down to 360p and lower my bitrate then i notice my delay shrunk alot.

once again, the Delay in streaming is common. When i use my roxio and stream via the program i get about 2-3 second delay. The higher bitrate/lower quality will reduce it abit but there will always be a delay. As for his stream not actually going live could be minor or not.

 

I know you probably heard it a couple times now, but do a clean reinstall, install SP 1.1 and try a lower bitrate (200) and work your way up. It might be to much bitrate causing your stream to just not work. It might sound strange but it happened to me in the beta for the roxio .
