Live Stream

beastmode24

Question

I have 40 down/5 up internet but whenever i go to live stream and check my bandwidth the most i can get is about 800 Kbps...

I have selected the closest location to me... I was hoping to be able to stream in HD but if I try it is choppy...

What is the deal is there a way to fix this?

.....picking the location nearest to you might not be the best for you're connection.

see my video here

NOW, if you notice lag still...it is common right now due to bugs and whatnot with the live streaming side of the device.

Have you updated your software SP1.1? can be found here http://www.roxio.com/enu/support/gamecapture-hd-pro/software_updates.html

but yes, there are minor issues right now because this is Roxio's 1st time creating a live streaming feature so they need to work through some bugs.

that helped quite a bit i can get up to like 1600 kpbs now... is that about as high as i am going to get with a 40down/5up?

every Internet setup and also PC is different ( different CPU output levels etc) but to give u a reference I also have 5 up internet and with using the roxio in house livestream .. I have to run mine at 1750 tops to get no lag or studders or freezes etc. So that sounds about in the ballpark.. i'd try it at 1600 for a few hrs and see what you think.
