MrVelocity
I was trying to install Roxio Game Capture software onto my Windows 8 Pro OS but I keep hitting error after error trying to sort it out. I have tried the following: Uninstall then re-installing the software Repairing install with Roxio Game Capture setup.exe Modifying install with Roxio Game Capture setup.exe Repairing install with Roxio Game Capture.msi Modifying install with Roxio Game Capture.msi Downloading a replacement rsl.dll located in C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Roxio Shared\DLLShared\ I tried to find a replacement rcsl.dll on the internet but couldn't find it but it doesn't seem to be a problem now None of this has help except replacing the rsl.dll which I was then able to register the software and boot to the main window. If I try to run Capture then nothing happens! This is the message I get when I try to run the Edit & Share but I get this error: Can anyone help? Fefeland
I installed RGC HD Pro on a W-8 Pro X64 image and had no problem with the install or running the program. I did not right click properties on the setup.exe and run it in any compatibility mode. That is not necessary for it to install and does cause installation problems. Open the support ticket or call support you have other problems! cdanteek
Did you get the software installed? Installing in any compatibility mode I already told you was the wrong thing to do! Post #10 above with pic's. Your log file is so big because you tried to install several times and you zipped several different ones along with them all. You need to call support or open a support ticket, here. http://corel.force.com/roxio?lang=en

Question
MrVelocity
I was trying to install Roxio Game Capture software onto my Windows 8 Pro OS but I keep hitting error after error trying to sort it out.
I have tried the following:
Uninstall then re-installing the software
Repairing install with Roxio Game Capture setup.exe
Modifying install with Roxio Game Capture setup.exe
Repairing install with Roxio Game Capture.msi
Modifying install with Roxio Game Capture.msi
Downloading a replacement rsl.dll located in C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Roxio Shared\DLLShared\
I tried to find a replacement rcsl.dll on the internet but couldn't find it but it doesn't seem to be a problem now
None of this has help except replacing the rsl.dll which I was then able to register the software and boot to the main window.
If I try to run Capture then nothing happens!
This is the message I get when I try to run the Edit & Share but I get this error:
Can anyone help?
