GamrEnchantment
I know in the FAQ it states that the Game Cap HD PRO doesn't record in-game chat audio. However, is there anyway to capture the Xbox 360 in-game chat audio and add it to the video during editing?
gaper1
The best you can do is to capture the in game chat of other people if you go into 360 audio settings and set it to "play through speakers and headphones" under console preferences. However, it doesn't record anything from your mic and you can't contorl any volume from others.

HOWEVER: If you use a program like windows recorder you can record your own voice on you PC during the game... then overlay it with VideoWave. That is the only current workaround. DPad
The lack of this feature pretty much makes recording gameplay pointless and I wouldn't have gotten this card if they were more clear about that. Anyone can capture clips, it's what's being said between you and your friends that makes you want to start capping in the first place. There are tons of videos out there of people just playing games. I have a pair of A50 Astro gaming headset that I use for my speakers and my mic. It uses optical like most modern headsets. It has an optical out jack built into the station, if I was to connect that to my PC would I be able to select a source that would pic up my mic from my gaming headset while trying to capture in real time? (Not streaming)

(Not streaming) Sorry but that changes nothing! You still are not able to select that as a source during recording thus it will not be recorded Until they address this, your Mic Audio must be part of the HDMI or Compnent output that goes into the GameCAP HD device in order for it to be recorded...
