Roxio Hp Pro Problem (Split From Hijacked Thread)

hi everyone i have a slight problem with my roxio hdpro, basically it works fine when capturing with the component but when ever i set it up with the HDMI cables the recording status says Signal protected and the livestream and capture buttons become faded

and wont let me record , anyone have an idea why?
