Access To Toast 11 Folder Contents Denied

I have Toast 11 on my iMac, which runs on Snow Leopard.

I have yet to upgrade the os on my MacBook, which is still running OS 10.7.5, with Toast 10.0.9.

 

I have tried to instal Toast 11 from the DVD; the instal system puts the folder into my Applications folder, but when I try to open it, I am told that "The folder “Toast 11 Titanium” can’t be opened because you don’t have permission to see its contents."

 

What am I not doing which I should do?

I suggest going to Roxio's Software updates page and download the version of Toast that is posted there. Use it instead of what's on the DVD. It contains everything that's on the DVD except for any "Pro" version extras. If you have the Pro version you should be able to install those extras from the DVD.
