Blue Screen On Tv When Starting Roxio And Long Load Times

aiden9574

Question

Hey everything seems good so far with this, i literally just set it up, but whenever i open the roxio capture tool, it takes around 20 odd seconds to fully load up and my screen goes blue on my TV for around 10 seconds, and then after that a picture appears in the media and everything works fine.

I'm assuming this blue screen thing isn't normal, i watched the setup video roxio did and the program loaded for them when they clicked "capture" in a matter of seconds, why is it taking me so long? and why is it giving me a blue screen when i click capture for a few seconds, quite annoying really, any fix :)?

P.S I have a gaming PC so all my specs are great, and the HDMI cable's i got were only ordererd recently of amazon so i don't think it will be them. The device is plugged into my pc into a 3.0 usb

Thanks for any help

According to your post, everything is Great based on your assumptions...

Obviously it isn't so great or you wouldn't be here!

Post your PC Specs and be sure and include your HDD Free space!!! (last time you defraged too, probably automatic with Win7)

What game box are you using?

What is your exact set up and how? - game box connected to GameCAP by ??? - GameCAP to PC by USB - TV to GameCAP by ???

Everything is great apart from... "" i know i worded it abit wrong but whatever

Also, it seems to not be doing a blue screen anymore which is good and the load time isnt really an issue as it seems to be going like normal

Another problem i have encountered after quickly doing some recording, is that sometimes there is some screen glitching and flickering on playback at some points throughout the video, how can i fix this?, just turn the quality meter down abit?
