Failed To Install

I have been using creator for years, back in the adaptec days, I just ordered the 2012 version from amazon, and the install failed at the creator install part. TS was more then useless, they did send me a link to download a internet version but norton 2013 deleted the file (roxio2012downloadmanager) because of threat name WS.Reputation.1

 

Then they wanted me to download it again with norton and my firewall turned off. That will NEVER happen. Can't return the software because I purchased through amazon. Any ideas on how to install without crashing my system? Almost clean windows 7, loaded software is.

Contact Norton and tell them the problem. They need to do a patch so that the download manager is not flagged. Also contact Amazon, they may be more lenient than you think especially if you are a good customer.

 

We can't help you since you are unwilling to do what was suggested.

If you installed the software with Norton Antivirus/Firewall running that could be your installation problem!
