No Video Signal

I just installed the ( easy VHS to DVD ) and the instalation went well.

 

the program opens and walks you through the connection procedures.

my VCR does not have the three RCA ( OUT ) connectors.

it has two ( OUT ) connectors 1 for video and 1 for audio.

 

my VCR works well because I just watched a tape on my tv.

I used a cable connector from the VCR to the TV

 

but when I try to view the tape on my desktop using the ( easy VHS to DVD ) it always displays ( No Video Signal )

the roxio connectors have 3 connections 1 video and 2 audio.

I tried it with only the video connector from my vcr , but still nothing.

 

in device manager the VHS to DVD device is listed as ( ROXIO VIDEO CAPTURE USB )

and there is another listed as ( USB 2861 Device )

 

any help here?

OK, it must be the VCR , I tried using the video ( in ) on the TV and the video ( out ) on the VCR and nothing.

I don't have a remote for the VCR that still works.

 

so I guess I'll need to get one of the universal remotes , I think there might be a function that I can't access without the remote.

 

so , until I get a remote I suppose that's about as far as this can go , but thanks for offering to help.
