Nex
Then you have to follow the same solutions already listed here... I doubt there is anything to fix I know some of the testers who had the SD then got the beta for testing and no one had these issues... I do agree though with the comment that it should not be this hard Did a fresh Windows 7 Ultimate SP1 64 bit installation using another hard drive just to make sure that the problem was not on my current OS but sadly the result was the blue screen of death when trying to change from HDMI to component in the options of the software. After that did another software repair but now the result is the 'No Signal' message and I'm unable to change the software options. I will try Windows 7 Ultimate SP1 32 bit but after that I'm out of options and technical support have not contact me yet Edit: The Windows 7 Ultimate SP1 32 bit installation had the same problem with the blue screen of death. Probably the problem is my motherboard??? AsRock H61M-S???? :S

lxWicKeDxl
Make sure you have the correct Input selected. I had this same issue. I uninstalled everything, re-installed, repaired, updated. Nothing worked. Then I saw how simple of a fix it was, I felt like an idiot. This is what I had before on my settings before when I was getting the blue screen: This is what I had after I was about to give up and saw it said Component instead of HDMI: Changed the Input option and my capture card instantly got the signal from my Xbox. Hope this helps.

Nex
Hi, I apologize for my bad English but my language is Spanish and I will try to explain my issue in the best way possible. My PC specs Intel Core i5 2.81 GHZ 8 GB RAM Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit SP1 First I just want to say that I bought Roxio Game Capture and I really liked the product and had 0 problems with the software and the device however I having problems with the new Roxio Game Capture HD Pro. I bought it from amazon at $99.99 (great offer ) and just get it yesterday. The first thing that I did was remove Roxio Game Capture from my PC and restart (I'm using Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit SP1). During the installation of Roxio Game Capture HD Pro software I was asked to check for updates and It downloaded 3 files (I suppose this are the SP1.1 files) and after that it prompted for restart. When I tried to open the capture software (Roxio Media Import) the PC crashed and I got a blue screen of death with the error "APC_Index_Mismatch". After several tries the problem was the same! blue screen of death every time that I try to access the capture software. The software opens and it tries to load the capture window and show the preview video but then the blue screen appears. I just want to say that previous this drive installation I got 0 blue screens or any problems like this and that I can guarantee that cause of the problem is related with the Roxio Media Import. All that I can say is that if I open the software and the PS3 is shutdown the software do not crash the PC but it display a "no signal" message and blue screen at the preview window (I suppose this is normal!) but as soon as the device try to pass the signal from the PS3 to the PC get the blue screen!. I already tried to repair, uninstall and re install the software around 5 to 10 times following the advice that Mr.Digital_Guru always seems to recommend here in the forums without any luck. I did a little google search and found 2 very good websites with information about this error. These websites confirm that the error occurs when the roxio game capture HD pro driver try to access the USB device. Please check these links Bug Check 0x1: APC_INDEX_MISMATCH: http://msdn.microsof...9(v=vs.85).aspx Fix APC_INDEX_MISMATCH (Blue Screen) I have no tried the second option yet! because I just found it a few minutes ago and I don't have access to my PC right now but I will try it later tonight and let you know if this hot fix helps.I used Roxio media import option to collect my PC information in a file and the file is attached also please check the screenshot of the blue screen of death just for fun . Sorry for the long wall of text but I wanted to describe the problem in the best way possible and give as much information as possible in the first post. Jim_Hardin
I can appriciate your dissapointment and frustration but I don't think the thousands of users would agree with your 'piece of junk' assessment Soooo, You could apply for a refund... You could try some more things to make it work... It is kind of scary when you say you "got a driver update about roxio" since no such thing exists At least nothing beyond the SP 1.1 which has nothing to do with any driver... I think at this point you may want to disable the device in the Hardware Manager and remove it. Then download and run the Revo uninstaller - in moderate mode! Then install ONLY the software for the GameCAP HD. Reboot and it should go
JEROME MERCEDES
Ok I got a driver update about the roxio so I updated it... I looked for my drivers found the Roxio now what? It still says NO SIGNAL man I'm sorry but I think the HD roxio is a piece of junk. I'll try it with the component cables again but I doubt it will work. Edit: Didn't work about ready to throw this thing out very disappointed it's funny because the standard works and this thing doesn't I've tried everything. only way I could know now is if I saw a video. JEROME MERCEDES
I'll check it out when I replug in all the cords after work was getting frustrated. Thanks for the help I greatly appreciate it. That might be what's messing me up. Could that have something to do with why my TV isn't saying the HDMI is connected when it's split between the capture card and 360? When I just have the HDMI to 360 my TV works fine when it's split the screen just stays black.
Jim_Hardin
As Tony mentioned, the drivers must be present, so lets check that! Open the Device Manager and when you plug in the GameCAP HD with the USB, you should see it in there:
JEROME MERCEDES
I check the source on my TV and it's saying no HDMI plugs are connected and my capture software is still picking up nothing even after repairing and checking and installing updates
ogdens
The Roxio capture card needs to be plugged into your computer (it needs power from the PC) and the drivers installed.
JEROME MERCEDES
Ok I got HDMI cables I put them on both plugs in the capture card but nothing is showing on my TV or my capture box on the software. light is on but the screen to let me capture is just a blue screen and it says I can't capture.
The other thing is the signal lettering is red saying NO SIGNAL I switched the
option to component cables also to make it work sense I have no HDMI cables.
