My Recording Is Choppy/pixelated And Livestream Issue With The Roxio Hd Pro

ARTiCZ

Question

Hey guys,

I got some problems with the Roxio Game Capture HD Pro. So when Im recording a gameplay from my xbox 360 the preview window and the final recording itself are getting choppy/pixelated (even though its not recording). I uninstalled and reinstalled the software, tryed various HDMI cables etc. The other issue is when Im Livestreaming. The stream runs only for a few minutes, then the software stops streaming and respoding. Sorry my english its not my first language. I will appreciate every help!

Here is an example:

Looks like 2 seperate issues :glare:

Choppy Recordings could be a PC issue...

List your PC specs, including Free Space on your HDD (like I have in my signature)

For crashing... best to start by running a though Repair:

First thing to do is to turn off your Anti Virus, Firewalls, Registry Cleaners, etc.

Remove the Capture Device and place it in another room!

Now insert your Roxio Disc and run Install.

Be sure you accept the offer to Check for Updates (this is for Roxio, not Windows)

When you reach the screen where
Repair
is offered, choose that!

When the Repair competes, turn your AV & Firewall back on and reboot.

Check for updates when you start the program. The SP 1.1 will have to be downloaded (Support at the the top)

Here is what he is seeing:

I am not a fan of 'overclocking'... Those that claim it is harmless are often the ones here with harmless problems  (I do not think it is the problem here!)

Let's confirm the driver is installed... Use another source, VCR - DVD or BD Player - camcorder to hookup to your RoxioGameCAP HD. Just want to see if the signal is recognized.

IF Not, look in the Device Manager and make sure the Driver is present with the device plugged in:
