Creator Nxt Install Questions

I just received my Creator NXT disc today, and tonight I installed it. After it was completed, I noticed that Roxio 2010 is still there, at least the shortcut on my desktop.

Although during the install process saw the message that it was uninstalling something.

I went to the start menu and clicked on programs, and roxio 2010 is still there.

Should I go to the control panel and manually uninstall roxio 2010?

Unless you are hurting for hard disc space, I wouldn't. But, opinions vary.

 

Aside: If you have unfinished video projects, started in Creator 2010, then you most definitely want to keep it on your computer to finish up your projects.

Also... The Player included in NXT, WinDVD, will not play any commercial disc

 

So if you have CinePlayer in Creator 2010, you may want to retain that... Of course there are plenty of good players out there as well
