Roxio Update Manager Driving Me Crazy!

All of a sudden, I get this message that won't go away!!! Asking for an Installation package for Roxio Update Manager. It appears Windows is trying to configure the Roxio update Manager. It says it can't locate a "UM.MSI". This program came on my Dell computer I ordered from Dell. I have tried to even Remove the Update Manager in "Add/Remove Programs", however can not do because it says I have process started and need to finish it first. I can't close out this Update Manager box. It is impossible to get it to go away!!! PLEASE HELP!!!! Thank you!!!!

How about telling us what Roxio program you are talking about! Your post can then be moved to the correct forum.

Usually issues like this need to be addressed by Dell since they are the ones that put the program on your computer. Contact them.

 

In the meantime, try the suggestions in this KB article. Read the full article and follow the directions carefully.

Open Task Manager right click the Update Manager under Applications and click end task.

 

Now remove it.
