Dvds Burned With Tivo Downloads Stop 50 Minutes Into Viewing

ddgsf

Question

Lately, when burning downloaded movies from Tivo, when I try to view them, the movies become distorted around the 50-minute mark. I've never had this problem before.

Actions taken:

1. I watched the movies on Tivo, but there is nothing wrong with them.

2. After downloading the films to my computer, I watched them there, but there is nothing wrong with them.

3. I have the Roxio 2010 program on two computers, and the problem happens with both computers.

4. I tried reinstalling Roxio 2010, but the problem continued.

Since the problem isn't with my DVR saved movies, my computers, and it happens to all movies at the same time, it has to be something with the Roxio program. Is anyone else experiencing this? I can't edit the videos anymore either. Any solutions?

Is Roxio 2010 a PC app? This is a Mac-app forum. If you are referring to Toast 10 then I've had problems with the editor, too, when the source is HD video. Roxio changed to a new editor with Toast 11. If the source is standard-def video go to Toast's custom encoder settings window and turn on "Never Re-encode". That may help with the DVD problem.
