Blu-Ray Plugin

joca

Question

The bluray plugin was bundled with creator 2011 pro but it is not with NXT. OK when NXT is installed over 2011 the plugin will remain in place which I have done and CP is retained BUT I now have to reinstall win 7 and NXT to a new hard-drive and will lose the plugin because I no longer retain the previous 2011 files.Does anybody know why the plugin is not bundled with NXT because having already purchased 2011 I would like to have cine player and can't understand why I would have to re purchase the plugin at $19.99 for a second time?

So you didn't save the plug in download? Why not?

I'm not speaking for Roxio/Corel but you may be better of looking at this. I haven't used it. CinePlayer was getting long in the tooth and was probably not going to be updated. Remember all those posts about not being able to play certain newer blu-ray discs?

when I purchased 2011 I did save the files but when I purchased nxt (disks) and installed I trashed all the 2011 files thinking I would have no further use for them not thinking about plugins. Steve win dvd is 60 quid cineplayer is/was free in with the app. it would be cheaper or there-a-bouts to buy a blu-ray recorder and use that software.

Yes but you will have to buy expensive BluRay discs.
