Mydvd Edit - Won't Let Me Bring In Segments To Edit And Add

Inputting MP4 format to MyDVD for edit and then creating a DVD. The program errors and then cuts me off when adding the 2nd segment in a list of segments. Did it 2 years ago but hadn't tried since. Is an upgrade mandatory now? Does the upgrade accept MP4 (as it doesn't name that format on the "input". Thanks for any help.

First, please confirm that you are trying to run MyDVD as part of Easy Media Creator 8 on a XP computer. I thought that that application was called something else back then is the reason I asked..

What OS are you running? EMC 8 is now very old and no longer supported. By "Upgrade" do you mean to the latest version which is Roxio NXT?

EMC 8 was the first Roxio version to change from DVD Builder to MyDVD.
