I believe that Corel is expecting you to use the Paint Shop Pro included with the program. Search for it and create a short-cut. It should be in a Corel folder in you Windows All Applications list. Most people would simply connect their camcorder (via USB) or memory card to their computer. Depending on your operating system, it should see the images and offer to import them for you to a folder of your choice.
snuba Kauai
I make diving videos and take a group picture on the video camera to use as the background for the DVD. I can drag and drop using windows explorer but that is now an extra step when I go to capture video and pictures that used to be available on the same screen on my earlier Creator program. Thanks for the response.

Thanks for the response. I am sorry I don't understand what you are asking or even what you are really trying to do. Capturing videos and photos were never on the same screen since they are two completely different tasks.
snuba Kauai
In Creator 2009, when you open the "capture video" tab it gives you a video and photo tab to choose what you would like to import. In NXS, there is only a video tab. No longer is there an option to import photos.

I hadn't noticed that yet, although in Options it still lets you choose a folder in which to put imported images
sknis
I hadn't noticed that yet, although in Options it still lets you choose a folder in which to put imported images I think that is a remnant from earlier versions. I don't see any way to import images using Video Capture. To the original poster: Corel included Paint Shop Pro so you can import and edit images with a "better" program. Have you tried that? PhotoSuite is still available; you can always use that to import and edit photos if you are more comfortable with that.
