Save Preferences Across Runs

Question

I have a computer with a small C: drive and a secondary 1TB drive.

Because A) the C: drive is small and B) the C: drive is automatically backed up to the internet, I don't want Easy VHS to DVD to write either working captures or final captures to the C: drive unless I tell it to.

It is a pain to have to remember to use the browser dialog to step through the directories to find the place where I want the files to go. How can I save the file location preferences such that I don't have to edit them every time?

Hi, I have tried it but it won't let me change the path. If I choose the browse button [...], I get a dialog box with "Desktop" being the only option. If I try to change the path, it will not change.

Thanks.

PS. I installed the program on a small notebook wtih XP operating system. I am not sure if this has any relevance...

I don't know of anything in XP that would restrict it, UAC didn't come along until Vista and even then it would warn you, not restrict you...

Of course I am assuming that your account has these privledges...
