Question

I'm preempting any issues with installing NXT on Win8.

Do I need to have an installed version of a previous version of creator (Creator 10, in my case) to install the upgrade version of NXT?

If so, has anyone successfully done so using Creator 10 as the base in Win8? The reason I ask is that the MS Upgrade Assistant said Creator 10 was incompatible with Win8, hence the purchase of the upgrade to NXT. If the Upgrade Assistant says the program is incompatible with Win8, can it still be "installed" to provide the upgrade path to NXT or will it not install at all and so prevent NXT installation?

Thanks in advance.

Creator NXT is a standalone installer not in any way a upgrade version where a previous version needs to be on the PC.

Hope that helps?

Cheers
