Error 8007000E When Burning

snuba Kauai

Question

I recently started using NXT (used Creator 2009) previously. i imported video from NXT capture, edited with Edit (advanced), saved and used MyDVD to burn. My first project worked well. My next project gave me a encoding error 8007000e while burning. I tried re-editing, saving and burning but got the same message. I still have 2009 on my hard drive as a back up to create the DVDs since most are dive videos and need to be done overnight.

I believe I have installled all the updates it requested after loading the program.

Any suggestions?

Did you try it using software rendering instead of hardware rendering? That error code, in previous versions, was cured, so to speak, using software rendering.

How would I render using the software vs hardware?

In MyDVD, click on Tools, then Options. Click on Software, below Render using. It's worth a shot, if you aren't using any 3D transitions.

EDIT: I just saw that you are doing video work, so that probably won't help you. Instead, make sure that your Quality setting is set to HQ, not Fit to Disc, which is the default setting. Try that, and see what happens.
