0 Jim_Hardin
Nice cables BUT How do you have them hooked up? What are they hooked up to? You are leaving out Everything! It is like posting a link a gas station and asking why your car won't work

0 ogdens
I don't know what the hell you are talking about.. Will try one more thing....do you have your Roxio software input set for Component? Capture settings are available mainly in two areas of the Capture application. Options panel: On the left side of the preview window, you can set video input (HDMI/Component) adjust video quality, set a capture length and change recording file name and location etc. Options: Press Options button and go to General tab. You change capture video resolutions (depending on the source video resolution from your console) and adjust video quality by entering actual bitrate (kbps) Edited November 6, 2012 by ogdens

0 Jim_Hardin
BubbaX, we are really trying to help but your messages are not legible. It is clear you understand us and know your way around the machines but the replies are too hard to decipher Perhaps you have a friend that could help you type the replies??? Also it often helps to have someone else to look at something with you, sometimes they spot what you are overlooking
0 tbrewst
On a normal set of Xbox cables there is a little switch to go from SD to HD.Does the set you bought have that same switch? If not then that could be the problem. I'm not sure about this. The switch may just change the signal from the component cables to the composite cables. I got similar cable (from monoprice) like that told me only have one console plug in at one time. 2nd make sure each console setup output 720p and 1080i. if all fails.. search youtube for video how set it up. 0 ogdens
What is the make and model # of your TV?.
0 Guest ivanatrox
Hold on guys. A couple points need to be clarified here. 1. The cable "Works with Xbox, PS2, PS3 and Wii". So we can remove Xbox 360 from the equation. 2. Remove our device from the setup. Connect your PS3 directly to the TV using this cable. Does the home screen come up for PS3? If you go to change Display Settings, what resolution can you set? This would help us figure out the capability of the TV before adding our device to the mix. This would also help us to determine if it's our device issue or an user error.
0 BubbaX
ugh........ My tv is a insignia 30inch 720p tv it works with my ps3 and yes i can see my screen and yes i can do everything and no i cant change it via roxio
0 Guest ivanatrox
So your Video Output Settings on PS3 is checked up to 720p? When you add our device in the setup, what's the connection used between our device and the TV? (The universal connector would connect the PS3 to the device)
