Titanium Error Codes

I have Titanium Toast 11. Am using version 11.1 on Mac OSX Snow Leopard 10.6.5

 

I have just received an error code while trying to burn a DVD disc stating:

 

Could not record the disc because there are too many files open.

Result Code = -42

 

Although the meaning of this error code should be pretty clear, I am not sure why I got it. Too many files open? Files where? I was trying to burn two two files to the disc.

 

I have tried to find a source where I could look up the explanations to Titanium Toast error message but have not found anything. Can someone help me figure out what Result Code -41 means?

The error messages are Mac OS messages. I haven't encountered this one so I don't know what might have caused it. Try restarting your Mac to see if that cures the problem.

I have Titanium Toast 11.1, running on Mac OS X 10.7.5. I converted my own VHS tapes to DVD using a Sony VHS->DVD recorder. The resulting DVD disks have ".VOB" video files on them.

When I try to convert the DVDs to H.264 movies using Titanium Toast 11.1 Convert option, it gives me the "-50" error.

I see that this problem was supposedly corrected in previous updates to Toast. Why am I getting this error with 11.1, and how do I fix it?
