Roxio Creator 2011 Not Recognizing Blank Disk When Copying A Disk.

When I copy a video to a blank disk it says, disk is not blank. When I copy the same video to a file and move it to the same disk it copies. Is this a drive issue? It works on my 32 bit computer, not on my new Windows 8 64 bit (pre-installed) computer.

Creator 2010 is not fully Windows 8 compatible. Read this This may or may not be your problem At this point copying to a file and then burning it may be a bonus and it may not become any better.

 

I don't have W8 so someone who does may have to come along and try the direct copy.

 

BTW, You may want to consider changing your screen name to remove the Roxio reference. Some people may see it and think you work for the company since usually only Roxio/Corel employees use the Roxio tag. . Your in box may fill up with requests for help.
