Can't See My Xbox On My Tv Screen?

I've gone through the instructions a million times and i have all the cabels correctly plugged into my tv/Roxio game capture but nothing will come up on my tv, it says 'no signal' but everything on my computer comes up fine and i can see my xbox screen on it. it's as if my xbox isn't connected to my tv but it should be, any suggestions?

Make sure the Input in the Roxio software is set as HDMI or Component (depends on the cables you are using).

 

I assume your TV input is set to the corresponding cable you are using.
