Cant Capture On Xbox 360

i have just got the roxio game cap pro had and i can capture.

 

the first picture is when i first start the software.

 

 

the second picture is when i turn my xbox off and back on.

 

 

the picture shows that there is not anything in the input drop box.

 

 

the picture shows that the game cap is showing in devise manger.

 

 

i have also used diffident hdmi cables, usb cables, and i have also use componet cabled as well and i have also uninstall and reinstall the software and im still getting the same results.

 

can any1 help me fix this?

Does the HDMI light on the Roxio capture unit come up when the HDMI cables are connected and the USB cable is pugged into the computer?

 

Also make sure Input in the software is set as HDMI.

the light does come on when the hdmi cables are connected and the use cable is plugged into the computer and how do i make sure that the input in the software is set as hdmi

Well... in your second picture you show that the Drop Box for Input is empty

 

Do you have another HDMI Source you can try to test it? Something like a DVD or BD Player?

 

You did not say What you are connecting to?

i have my game capture connected to my xbox 360 slim, tv and laptop and i can i use my laptop as another hdmi source as it has a hdmi slot?

Most likely it is usable for output...

 

Try It on your TV first to make sure, then plug it into the GameCAP and see what happens

nothing changed. but when its connected to my xbox i get the image on on the tv but in the preview box but it does say capture devise in status. and there nothing the in input box.

Did you test the HDMI output from your laptop on your TV?

 

What happened?

 

Did you then connect the lap's HDMI to your GameCAP HD?

 

What happened?

 

Have you tried ALL of the USB ports on your PC with the device? ~ that is all not merely the ones that are easy to get to
