I'm Having The Same Problem That Others Have Described Here Nxt Pro Won't Install

Question

I'm having the same problem that others have described here. Rather than acting like the problem is totally unheard of and that the users must be doing something wrong Roxio needs to get to the bottom of why this problem happens to so many people and provide a step-by-step solution to follow. I sure as heck don't see that here. I'm no fan of Microsoft, but at least they eventually provide a detailed fix to their annoying software and hardware conflicts that you can usually locate in their online forums before picking up the phone.

 

It's also infuriating that there is no obvious tech support phone number to call. I'm working on a deadline and I need some of these features in this product. I guess I'm going to have to take 45 minutes of my time and drive to a retail store to purchase the product after I've already ordered one to be delivered After I'm done with this deadline I'm going to take the time to get comfortable some other audio/video editing product and quit dealing with this company.

Do you have the Creator NXT you ordered in hand or are you complaining before you even have the product?

Dan It is bad forum etiquette to threadjack. What happens is that no one knows who is replying to whom.

 

There is no attempt to hide the issues with installation. Just look at the various threads; there are issues with equipment, downloads, disc, but until we have enough information, we cannot help. Did you know that Roxio/Corel people seldom come here? We are users who have no control over what goes on

 

As above; did you prepare your computer per the instructions? Please attach your dxdiag exe, evaluation, and attach the log files.
