No Where Else To Go....hope You Can Help Me!

HELP PLEASE! NEW TO THIS FORUM....

I am so frustrated and hope you can help me please! I downloaded a talk almost 85 min. mp3 format and wanted to burn (copy) onto a DVD+R but Roxio keeps ejecting the disk even after I placed another one in and gives me the message “Please insert a blank or rewritable CD in the Lite-On DVDRW (D:) drive Supported media: CD-R, CD-RW, DVD-R, DVD-RW, DVD+R, DVD+RW.” I clicked on “Audio/Create Audio CD for Car or Home CD player” I have several I need to copy (burn) like this….Can you help me please!

Have older version Roxio Creator 9.0 DE and System: MS XP

Why are you using DVDs? Why don't you use a CD? You cannot create an "audio CD" on a DVD.

Does your car and/or home CD player play mp3 files? If yes then just copy the mp3 files to the CD.

Thanks Digital Guru, but a CD does not have enough room for this "talk" that I downloaded which is a mp3 download! Roxio would not take CD for that reason!

Why don't you take that mp3 file into Sound Editor, split it in 2, then export the clips separately to a folder on your hard drive. You can then burn each of them separately to CDs.
