albucko Posted November 16, 2012 Author Report Share Posted November 16, 2012 Hi, Thank you for replies, First im using the rva (red/white/yellow) connection.& also i get the vhs playing in the preview box in roxio suite? i did origanally pluged in the usb before the program cd. I then thought it maybe the prob so, i unistalled driver & thus installed cd first, then, yes pc had to install ubs unit. roxio unit recognizes my cam & ( i can capture images from cam. albucko Posted November 16, 2012 Author Report Share Posted November 16, 2012 Hi, Ok i've even gone to the extent of systems restore prior to my first attemp. installed roxio suite & restarted pc, waited 5mins & connected roxio usb capture unit, pc installed usb unit sucessfully. The problem is the source signal you are using doesn't work Your results are typical of a SCART user with the wrong type of plug... albucko Posted November 17, 2012 Author Report Share Posted November 17, 2012 Hi, Thank you for your time, It seems my roxio cd is corrupt!!! I have since found a free program/suite & works well with the roxio usb capture unit. As i said earlier im only use rca connection from vhs to roxio unit, not scat connection. I doubt i can get a cd to try ? as the roxio program looks great with heaps of tools. Anyway its working at the moment Thank you all for your help.
