djbillyd
I am having an issue with Sonic RecordNow 7xx Deluxe. When I attempt to start the program I get an error: " All your drives are set to disabled. On this operating system, in order to start RecordNow! Deluxe you must either physically remove your drive(s) or enable at least one drive." My drives are enabled. I have the program on 2 Windows 7 Ultimate 64x systems. I have used the software for years. This is the first time I have experienced this.
sknis
That program is not compatible with Windows 7. You are experiencing exactly what other people do - it will run for awhile but it will eventually fail. Here are the programs that will work with Windows 7 (link). There are no patches; you'll have to use something else.
Brendon
"All your drives are set to disabled. That error usually means that something has broken in the PX Engine, and while Windows can still see your drives, Roxio can't. Please see this link http://forums.support.roxio.com/topic/74799-no-drive-detected/page__view__findpost__p__374534 and follow Cdanteek's instructions in post #6 to the tee. djbillyd
I found the download, installed it, as per "Cdanteek's instructions in post #6 to the tee", and I am still getting the same message.
djbillyd
Oops! I didn't do the "to the tee" part as well as I previously thought. I skipped the "run" command part and installed from the "fix" folder, which didn't do the trick. When I went back, did the "Run" command, as I was told (ewwww...), it worked. Sorry, and THANKS!!! Brendon
No need to apologize, you came back and told us it worked properly when you did it properly, and that's great to hear. I'm glad Cdanteek and I could help you. Brendon
