Wii U Help

Question

I just got my Wii U in and I want to do some LPs for it but, for some reason, it only captures in black and white. My PS3 and Wii capture just fine. Can anyone help me out? Thanks!

Audio LP's? You mean CDs? lol

LP in this context mean "Let's Play", which is a walkthrough of a video game.

No, he meant LP as in, you know, long playing phonograph records. They're vinyl.

Now you know why you probably should spell out what you mean. ;).

How are you hooked up from your Wii u to the Roxio capture card?. Try to provide as much detail as you can, so we don,t get confused over terminology.

You have already proven that the Roxio capture card is ok when you used your ps3?wii with no problems, so it is probably something you have not set correctly in the wiiU, or a incorrect cord.

It's hooked up to the Roxio using a Energizer Universal Output Cable. It captures on the PS3 and the Wii just fine and, according to Ninetndo, the cords for the Wii would work on the Wii U as well but I can't get it to capture in color.

Does it work ok when plugged directly into a TV using the same cable out of the WiiU.

Does that cable have a switch to go from TV to HDTV?

If so try changing it.

This is something that is overlooked at times.

Are you sure the Wii 's video output setting is correct?
