Why Doesnt The Capture Button Open The Ability To Capture

I had a computer which just met the requirements and struggled to use the roxio game capture hd pro so i go out today and buy a laptop that is way more then able to handle the software but now when i click the item on the desktop i get the option of capture or edit and share.Edit and share opens fine but when i click capture it shows the loading sign for a split second then nothing happens ive looked at post with other people having the same problem but the answers there were given to fix it doesnt even work.I have asked them and there said it didnt fix it.Does anybody actually know how to fix this i know its not faulty as i have used it before on 2 different computers. Please HELP!!!

Does it play the sound still? I have a problem with mine where I can hear the audio from my PS3, but I cannot see the game in the preview menu. For me to see it I had to disable my graphics driver on my laptop (which was Intel HD 3000 graphics by the way) and it fixed the problem. I would re-enable it after I was done recording.

No it doesnt play sound when i click the capture button option instead of edit and share it just shows a loading orange box for a split second then nothing happens i disabled the graphics card that didnt work
