You would most likely have to contact Roxio support and give them the serial of your device. Then, they can transfer the activated software license onto your new PC.

Where do you come up with this bologna?

Don't you really understand the license agreement you agreed to when installing the software?

It's not bologna, I can't remember what thread but a someone from Roxio replied to someone with a very similar problem stating that as long as you have the serial number ON the device, they can give you the software and license if you give the number to them.

I remember that one but don't recall where it is ;)

Slightly different issue as it involved a Download of the software and as I recall (faulty memory chips in head) the user had lost both his download and key???

What cd is reminding everyone of in this Topic is that the EULA is for One Installed Software! So you could Remove it from one PC and install it on another... But you should not have it installed 2 places at the same time!

Here is what I called bologna.

Now your saying something completely different!

It's not bologna, I can't remember what thread but a someone from Roxio replied to someone with a very similar problem stating that as long as you have the serial number ON the device, they can give you the software and license if you give the number to them.

Neither one has anything to do with this thread and the original poster violating the user agreement he/she agreed to when installing the software.

Do you see/understand the difference?
