Brendon
No, sorry. You can burn a DATA disc with a password so that others can't read it, but you can't password protect a Video-DVD from being edited. For the DVD to be played in a player it must be readable, and if it's readable it can be copied and edited. [Commercial DVDs are specially encrypted to stop copying, but that only works because players are designed so they can decrypt the DVD] Brendon
thanh
wtm copy protection can do this. Roxio can't do this. --> mean roxio < wtm copy protection about encrypt?
Brendon
Commercial DVDs use CSS [look it up] and Region Protection [look that up too] and some times even more complicated protections. Roxio programs don't do that. A program to encrypt your DVDs will cost MANY more dollars than the common Roxio programs.
