Thinking of upgrading to NXT? The Corel upgrade pricing is shocking, 75% of the full price for around 10%(my guess) new/improved functionality. Surely most 2012 Pro users would just want a minor upgrade to Win 8 functionality at a much more modest price. In any case forget getting through to their sales phone line, I spend over 10-15 minutes holding being told they had unexpectedly high call volumes. "Corel is happy to support many of your favorite Roxio products on Microsoft's latest operating system release, Windows 8. The following products are Windows 8 compatible. Another reason not to buy more ROXIO Products.I bought Roxio 2012 on year 2012 and installed on Windows 7...This is less than one year ago... now I have no more support... so I have a very recent Roxio 2012 version and I can not use it because I decided to upgrade to Windows 8 (which basically is identical to Windows 7) and Roxio just offers me a little discount... pay more... pay more...Bye Roxio.(oh yes... Francesc Posted August 30, 2013 Report Share Posted August 30, 2013 After reinstalling completely Roxio 2012 Pro again on Windows 8, it started working again... but has soooo many bugs (it goes on hanging everytime to try to do something... it did on Windows 7 too but not so often). And... of course... Roxio will not correct those bugs because Roxio is working on a incredible full of new options on incredible new Roxio 2013 and don't want to support Roxio 2012. IS Roxio's fault stop supporting Roxio 2012 (no more new versions neither bug and hangs corrections... nevermore). Is Roxio's fault, or a marketing trick, to say there is a new Roxio 2013 version and leave the "just one year old" Roxio 2012 version without support.
