Computer Freezes

I recently bought the Roxio Game Cap HD PRO and everything was working well for the first few days but now when I start editing a video thats over two minutes long the program freezes and so does my computer. I don't know any specs on my computer, I know it has 809 gb free out of 900 gb so I doubt hard drive storage is the problem. It was working well and I managed to upload HD gameplay the first few days but I dont know what's going on now. I'd appreciate any help whatsoever.

I use a windows 7 desktop, it cost over $500, I dont know anything else about my computer.
